Bangalore: Team India captain Rahul Dravid on Saturday said that the upcoming tour of Pakistan would be a “challenging one”.
“I am looking forward to the series”, he told reporters here. “It will be a challenging series”, he maintained.
Earlier, the Karnataka Chief Minister N. Dharam Singh handed over the Person of the Year award (presented by the Press Club of Bangalore) to the prolific batsman.
Meanwhile, Team India wicket-keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni would be gifted with a flat, a private builder announced this while felicitating the flamboyant player in Ranchi on Saturday.
Dhoni would get a three-bed room flat in a multi-storeyed building project in the Jharkhand capital, the owner of Jamshedpur-based Kaushal Kanchan Constructions said.
At a separate function, Ranchi Club enrolled Dhoni as its life member.
Team India will leave for Pakistan on January 5. They will play three Test matches and five one-dayers against Inzamam-ul Haq & Co.
