New Delhi: The capitalís Ambedkar Stadium has been identified as one of the neutral venues for the 10th National Football League tentatively scheduled to kick off on January 7.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has identified Delhi, Calicut and Bangalore as neutral venues in case a club is unable to hold its home matches on its home ground.
The three centres would host matches if Mumbai, Calcutta, Goa or Ludhiana express their inability to host a fixture.
The decision was taken at a meeting presided over by AIFF president Priya Ranjan Das Munshi and attended by representatives of the 10 clubs that will compete in next yearís league.
The clubs have been provided the tentative fixtures and need to inform the AIFF of their objections or suggestions, if any, by Tuesday.
