Los Angeles, Dec. 8 (Reuters): Reality TV star Nicole Richie and her fiancee, club disc jockey Adam Goldstein, have called off their wedding, her publicist said on Wednesday.

“They’ve broken off their engagement,” publicist Cindy Guagenti said, adding the decision was mutual.

She declined to give further details or say if the couple was still romantically linked.

Richie, who stars alongside her former best friend Paris Hilton, in the TV hit The Simple Life, and Goldstein announced their engagement in February after dating since 2003.

Although Richie, the daughter of Lionel Richie, and Hilton are now feuding, their TV show will return for a fourth season with a new theme that does not require the 24-year-olds to spend time together. Hilton recently ended her engagement to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis.
