New Delhi: T. Akum Ao’s brace helped Assam Rifles, Shillong, post a 2-1 win over Border Security Force, Jalandhar, and enter the quarter-finals of the Durand Cup football tournament on Monday.

In the last qualifying match of group I at the Ambedkar Stadiuim here, Akum scored in 31st and 58th minutes.

Deepak Kumar netted the consolation goal for BSF in the 66th minute.
