Berlin, Dec. 3 (Reuters): A German Protestant youth group has put together a 2006 calendar with 12 staged photos depicting erotic scenes from the Bible, including a bare-breasted Delilah cutting Samson’s hair and a nude Eve offering an apple.

“There’s a whole range of biblical scriptures simply bursting with eroticism,” said Stefan Wiest, the 32-year-old photographer who took the pictures.

Oslo (Reuters): Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit gave birth on Saturday to a son who is third in line to the Norwegian throne, the palace said. “All is well with mother and child,” the palace said. Grandson of King Harald, the baby boy is third in the line of succession after his father, Crown Prince Haakon, and 1-year-old Princess Ingrid Alexandra.
