Billy Graham

Aizawl, Nov. 28: The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association will launch an evangelist-ic mission across the Indian sub-continent during Christmas.

Rev. Zaihmingthanga, co-ordinator of the association for Mizoram, said the mission, codenamed My Hope India, would be televised.

?The ministry will deliver messages through 100 TV channels in 13 national languages during the coming Christmas,? he told the media. ?The programme is expected to cover the approximately 30 million Christian population of India,? he added.

The programme will be telecast after the Christmas message from President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on December 23 night. More will follow on December 24 and 25.

The programme, Zaihmingthanga said, was conceived in a Bangkok conference in 2004, which was participated in by Billy Graham members and church leaders from India. The programme is expected to bring about a spiritual reveal.
