Guwahati, Nov. 25: The CBI today filed a chargesheet in the Pratul Deb abduction and murder case.

This was confirmed by special judicial magistrate Arunima Deka. However, she did not divulge the details.

Sources said eight persons arrested earlier were named in the chargesheet.

Deb?s daughter Shipra said the CBI had assured her yesterday that a supplementary chargesheet would be filed later that might have the names of the conspirators too.

A CBI spokesperson in New Delhi said ?some aspects? of the probe would continue, but the major part had been completed, adds our Delhi correspondent.
