Rajasthan Spinning net up
Rajasthan Spinning and Weaving Mills has reported a 43.5 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit in the second quarter of this fiscal to Rs 6.14 crore. The revenues of the company during the quarter were up 16.1 per cent at Rs 203.9 crore compared with the same period last year. The board of directors of the company have approved an expansion plan of Rs 400 crore.
TIL earnings
TIL has achieved Rs 2.19 crore before-tax profit for the second quarter of the current financial year against Rs 1.15 crore in the same period last year. Net income from sales went up 55 per cent to Rs 104 crore from Rs 67 crore in the year-ago period. For the six months ended September 30, profit before tax stood at Rs 6.57 crore compared with Rs 2.04 crore last year.
Kale profit
Kale Consultants has recorded a 45.25 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 52 lakh for the second quarter ended September 30 compared with Rs 35.80 lakh for the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. Revenues for the company during the reporting quarter increased to Rs 15.46 crore against Rs 12.42 crore in the year-ago period.
Linc Pen
Linc Pen & Plastics has reported a 10.7 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 2.57 crore for the first six months of the current financial year from Rs 2.23 crore in the same period last year. Its revenue during the period grew to Rs 71.56 crore from Rs 59.85 crore in the year-ago period.
Aventis
Aventis Pharma has posted a 16.94 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 49.7 crore for the quarter ended September 30 from Rs 42.5 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. Total income jumped up 19.45 per cent at Rs 231.5 crore for the same quarter this fiscal against Rs 193.8 crore in the year-ago period
Aarvee Denim
Aarvee Denims and Exports has posted a 78 per cent increase in earnings for the quarter ended September 30 to Rs 9.12 crore from Rs 5.13 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. Income for sales increased by 18 per cent to Rs 78.50 crore from Rs 67 crore in the year-ago period.
Sterling Tools
Sterling Tools has reported a 23 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 1.36 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 against Rs 1.77 crore in the same period last fiscal. The company?s profit for the six months ended September increased by 4.95 per cent to Rs 3.18 crore from Rs 3.03 crore last year.
Century Enka
Century Enka has posted a 24 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 12.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared with Rs 16.06 crore in the year-ago period. Total income has decreased 9 per cent to Rs 244.64 crore from Rs 268.93 crore in the same period last fiscal.
