Karachi: The England cricket team had a minor “viral” scare when four of their players experienced throat and stomach problems.
“A few guys are down with some viral infections with throat and stomach problems,” said coach Duncan Fletcher.
The sick players ? paceman Matthew Hoggard, spinners Shaun Udal and Alex Loudon, and Kevin Pietersen ? all took part in a training session with the team at the Pakistan Cricket Board Academy, but didn’t go to the gym.
