Jamshedpur, Oct. 31: In a move to avoid confusion, members of the Jama Masjid Committee have unanimously decided to announce the date for Id celebrations for other mosques in the city.

Syed Mansoor Ali, president of the Jama Masjid Committee, said the minority population of Jamshedpur would be informed about the actual date of Id celebrations through different mosques this year.

?Although every precaution is taken to avoid any confusion in various mosques in the city, personal opinion differs. But this time, a single date will be announced,? Ali told The Telegraph.

He added that Jama Masjid?s moon sighting committee would spot the moon in the first week of November ?The air of confusion would not prevail this year,? said Wasumullah, one of the members of the moon sighting committee.
