P&G posts lower net

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Healthcare has posted a 12.79 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 25.83 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared with Rs 29.62 crore in the year-ago period. Total income has increased by 34.77 per cent to Rs 196.03 crore for the period from Rs 145.45 crore in the year-ago period.

JB Chemicals

JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals has posted a 11.65 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 24.53 crore for July-September compared with Rs 21.97 crore in the year-ago period. Total income has increased 22.05 per cent to Rs 131.20 crore from Rs 107.49 crore. The company has recommended a 55 per cent interim dividend.

Corp Bank

Corporation Bank has reported a 292.59 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 106 crore for July-September against Rs 27 crore for the same quarter last fiscal. Total income grew 14.43 per cent to Rs 785 crore from Rs 686 crore. For the half year ended September 30, the bank has posted a net profit of Rs 229 crore.

Indo Gulf

Indo Gulf Fertilisers has posted a 38.85 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 22.48 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared with Rs 16.19 crore in the year-ago period. Total income decreased 9 per cent to Rs 219.41 crore from Rs 241.58 crore.

BoR earnings

Bank of Rajasthan's net profit for July-September has declined by 73.7 per cent to Rs 5.24 crore from Rs 19.92 crore in the same quarter last year. The profitability was affected due to losses booked of Rs 30 crore on treasury operations.

GMDC loss

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation has suffered a net loss of Rs 15.76 crore for the quarter ended September 30 compared with a net profit of Rs 20.72 crore for the same period last fiscal. Total income rose by 15.68 per cent rise to Rs 84.74 crore from Rs 73.25 crore.

Patel profit

Patel Engineering has announced a 65.51 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended September 30 at Rs 12.54 crore against Rs 7.57 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal. The board of the company has declared an interim dividend of 50 per cent.

Carborundum

Carborundum Universal has reported a 61 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 13.49 crore for the July-September quarter against Rs 8.40 crore for the same period last year. Its sales grew 21 per cent to Rs 106 crore from Rs 87 crore in the year-ago period.

ICI earnings

ICI India has announced a 32.60 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 15.44 crore for the quarter ended September 30 against Rs 22.91 crore in the year-ago period. Total income has gone up 18.28 per cent to Rs 231.95 crore for the quarter.
