Calcutta, Oct. 19: Doordarshan has asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India for terrestrial rights to show the seven ODIs and three Tests against Sri Lanka.
We wrote to BCCI yesterday for the rights, said Prasar Bharati chief executive K.S. Sarma. We have offered Rs 7 crore per ODI and Rs 3 crore per day per Test match.
The BCCIs marketing committee will meet in Calcutta tomorrow to discuss telecast rights for international matches played in India, said Jagmohan Dalmiya, former BCCI president and a member of the committee.

The disputing camps in the BCCI today agreed on former chief election commissioner T.S. Krishnamurthy being appointed as observer for election of the president.
