Milkha, Usha to take part

New Delhi: Flying Sikh Milkha Singh, sprint queen P. T. Usha, and former hockey stalwart Ajit Pal Singh are among a host of noted sportspersons who will take part in the Senior Citizens Run on October 16 here.

As many as 2,500 senior citizens have so far registered for the run.

The senior citizens run is part of the Hutch Delhi Half Marathon 2005. The 4.3km run will begin from the Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium.

Other famous sports personalities likely to participate in the run include former athletes Sriram Singh, G. S. Randhawa, and Shiny Wilson; former shuttlers Dinesh Khanna and Damyanti Tambe and hockey players M. P. Ganesh and Harvinder Singh.
