Nepal school wins big

New Delhi: Nobel Academy, Kathmandu thrashed St Xavier’s HS, Goa by half-adozen goals while BSL High School, Bokaro had a convincing 4-0 victory on the 15th day of the Subroto Cup at the Ambedkar Stadium I New Delhi on Wednesday.

Ranjeet scored three goals for the Nepalese team while Deepak contributed two. Bharat also chipped in with a goal to complete the tally.

In the other match, the Bokaro school pumped four goals past Shah Satnamji Boys School, Sirsa. Suman Pandey scored a brace while Dipankar and Denny contributed a goal each.

St Augustine’s High School, Navi Mumbai and Sainik School, Imphal played out a 1-1 draw. (PTI)
