Chennai: Delhi’s Ashok Kumar and Banglaore’s S. Madaiah and C. Muniyappa hogged the limelight at the end of the first round in the Hyundai-MCG Amby Valley PGA Indian Golf Tour match on Wednesday.
The trio submitted an identical card of five under 65 on a day when 34 par or sub-par scores were recorded.
Jaipur’s Vishal Singh and Nabin Mondal (Calcutta) were tied for the fourth spot at four under 66, while four other pros ? S. S. P. Chowrasia, Feroz Ali, Ranjit Singh and Pakistan’s Waheed Balouch shared the sixth place.
