Do you often wonder, why we blink our eyes? We do so to oil, lube and filter our eyes. Blinking, as opposed to batting, automatically supplies two forms of moisture to our eyes and keeps foreign particles from entering our eyes. But, how come, our vision is not affected despite blinking so frequently? Our eyelids are folds of skin, controlled by muscles that can expand and contract so rapidly, that blinking does not impair our vision.
