Aizawl, Sept. 21: Incessant rain caused landslides in several areas of Aizawl on Tuesday morning, destroying eight houses and damaging two vehicles. However, no casualties were reported.

Relief and rehabilitation minister Lalrinchhana visited the area and gave the village disaster management committee Rs 3,000. R. Khawpuit-hanga, the local legislator, accompanied him and made a personal donation of Rs 5,000.
