Imphal, Sept. 13: Manipur archers finished the 26th Sub-Junior National Archery Championship at Ajmer with top honours in the Indian round team event competition apart from bagging an individual gold and two bronze medals.
The team gold of the championship was won by the Manipur trio of P. Abungcha, W. Bicky and Y. Bishorjit, who culled 1,949 points.
Bishorjit also claimed the over-all individual title with a haul of 662 points and fetched the gold in 20 metres Indian round scoring 344 points.
The girls? team secured third position in the Indian round competition scoring 1,724 points.
Nagaon league
Sanjiban Samaj defeated Radial Club 2-0 in Tuesday?s match of the ongoing Nurul Hussain 1st division football league of Nowgong Sports Association at Nurul Amin Stadium here.
Budhi Bordoloi scored both goals in the 71st and 73rd minutes of the match.
Uday Sangha will meet Renaissance Club in the last match league on Wednesday.
Weightlifting teams named: The Assam Weightlifting Association has named the state squads for the sub-junior and junior nationals to be held at Bhilai in Chattisgarh form October 20 to 22 and October 24 to 27 respectively.
A coaching camp for the junior squad will be held at the SAI complex in Guwahati on October 18, says a Guwahati reporter.

Judo trials: The All Assam Judo Association will hold a selection trial at Guwahati Dojo on September 16 to select the state team for the Junior National Judo meet to be held in Delhi from October 18 to 21.
The under-17 judokas will have to produce their birth certificates during trials for the below 45 kg, 50 kg, 55 kg and 60 kg and above 60 kg weight groups.
BSNL table tennis: Amitabh Sarma of Guwahati claimed the doubles crown in the 5th all-Assam Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited table tennis championship at Silchar on Sunday, says a Guwahati reporter.
Sarma defeated Saprajit Dhar of Silchar 11-3, 11-6, 11-7 and teamed up with Kajal Dev of Guwahati to win the doubles crown.
The duo defeated the Dhar and R.N. Mahato tandem 11-6, 10-12, 11-8, 11-9.
Sanjukta Gogoi of Guwahati claimed the women?s singles title, defeating Kim Singsong of Guwahati 11-6, 11-4, 11-3.
