Chinsurah, Sept. 11: Police today blew the lid off a racket and arrested four people allegedly stealing oil from a tanker.

The gang looted tankers between Tamluk in East Midnapore and Asansol in Burdwan. The four were fleeing with 500 of oil when caught. Hooghly superintendent Supratim Sarkar said a police team spotted their Tata Sumo at Siakhala, about 60 km from Calcutta.
