A Reality Tour

(Landmark, Rs 499) His Ziggy Stardust days are long history, but David Bowie?s career has surged on. Around 30 songs are featured in delightful 5.1 surround sound from the 60-odd he performed on the tour. Look out for Under Pressure, where bassist Gail Ann Dorsey does a Freddie Mercury.

New Works 2005

(Seagull Arts and Media Resource Centre, 2 pm-7 pm, from September 10) More than 60 oil paintings by Chandana Hore will be on display at the exhibition presented by the Seagull Foundation for Arts.

Kolkata Short Film Festival

(Nandan II, 3 pm and 5.30 pm, till September 10) Eighty six short films are being screened daily in two sessions as part of the nine-day festival hosted by Chitrabani and Nandan. To mark the 50th anniversary of Pather Panchali, a seminar-cum-screening will be held on Sunday, 6.30 pm, in the presence of Satyajit Ray?s actors and associates.
