Jamshedpur, Aug. 21: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren has lambasted chief minister Arjun Munda for not addressing the problems of tribals.

?Munda is acting at the behest of the central leadership of the BJP. He has been reduced to a puppet in the hands of other ministers and outsiders,? said Soren.

The JMM chief arrived in the city for the concluding session of the 150th year of Santhal Hul, organised by several tribal organisations, under the banner of Sidhu-Kanhu Hul Akhra.

Soren said the government has created confusion among tribals regarding the Chhotanagpur Tenancy Act and Santhal Pargana Tenancy Act.

?On several occasions, the BJP-led NDA government in the state has expressed its desire to change the acts and facilitate the capitalists who want to invest in the state. The Munda government has done precious little to safeguard the agrarian economy of the tribals,? he said.
