Bangalore: CAB XI made amends of sorts, defeating New South Wales by 23 runs in their last league fixture on Saturday.

In the inconsequential match ? Air India are already through to the final from group B ? CAB XI notched up 134 for five in 20 overs, thanks to Manoj Tewari who made 55, and Subhomoy Das (45).

MoM Tewari smashed five fours and one six in his 46-ball knock, while Subhomoy’s bre-ezy innings came in 27 balls w-ith six boundaries and one six.
