FCI, Naga Police clash in final
Guwahati: FCI, Guwahati will clash with Nagaland Police in the final of the 46th ATPA Shield football tournament at Jorhat on Saturday. In the semis, FCI upset OIL, Duliajan and the police side beat ASEB SC.
Kickboxing team named
Guwahati: A 16-member squad will represent Assam in the 16th national kickboxing championship next month. The team: Tipu Sultan Ahmed, Utpal Sut, Rahul Jyoti Sonowal, Sahidul Islam, Dhanti Das, Safiqul Islam, Aruna G. Jyrwa, Laxman Chetri, Azmat Khan, Salman Ali, Tonmoy Nath, Nazir Hassan, Rajib Hazarika, Ashish D. Lynshing, Akash Das and Abhishek Das.
