Jamshedpur, Aug. 14: Vinayak Upadhya, from the city, was adjudged the sportiest DJ at the War of the DJs competition in Mumbai on Friday and he is now aiming for higher, reported our correspondent.

Vinayak has left for Delhi, where he would get busy preparing for the DJ mixing competition, to be held in London later this year.

The 26-year-old Loyola alumnus, who is known in the circuit as DJ Abstract Dimension, had won accolades for his scratch powers at the Mumbai competition. The young DJ is adept in what is known in the DJ parlance as scratching, mixing, looping and beat juggling.

Vinayak?s brother Raghvendra said: ?He was technically perfect at the meet. But things did not go as expected. Let us hope he would be able to make his presence felt abroad in the London competition.?

He, however, said he was glad that Vinayak notched the Most Sporty DJ award.
