New Delhi, Aug. 3 (PTI): The government today informed the Rajya Sabha that it is monitoring the adverse effects of reduction of import duty on domestic employment opportunities.

Replying to supplementaries during the question hour, commerce and industry minister Kamal Nath said even if something was conceded through the reduction of import duty on some selected items, India stood to gain considerably by the opening of other markets.
