Core fund

Pru ICICI Mutual Fund has unveiled an open-ended equity scheme that will invest in securities of companies belonging to the infrastructure sector. The minimum investment amount is Rs 5,000 per application. A load of 2.25 per cent will be charged on investments below Rs 5 crore. An exit load of 1 per cent is applicable on redemptions within six months of allotment of units of amount less than Rs 5 crore and 2 per cent on SIP investments for a period of 1 year from allotment of units. The new fund offer shall remain open till August 10, 2005.

IOB offer

Indian Overseas Bank has launched IOB-Jeevan in collaboration with LIC for its savings and current account deposit holders as also borrowers in the age group of 18 to 55 years. The scheme would offer life insurance cover of Rs 1 lakh renewable on an annual basis at a nominal premium. The scheme also provides personal accident insurance cover of Rs 1 lakh.

Health is wealth

Sahara Mutual Fund has extended the offer period of Sahara Wealth Plus Fund till August 2. HDFC Mutual Fund has again extended the closing date for the new fund offer period of HDFC Multiple Yield Fund- Plan 2005 to August 5, 2005.
