JK Ind profit at Rs 47 cr

JK Industries has posted a 28 per cent year-on-year growth in operating profit at Rs 47 crore for the quarter ended June 30. Sales for the quarter was recorded at Rs 639 crore, an increase of 7 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year. Profit before tax was clocked at Rs 14 crore. The company?s Rs-160 crore new tyre manufacturing facility shall be fully implemented by October this year.

Radico profit

Radico Khaitan has registered a net profit of Rs 11.06 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year compared with Rs 8.50 crore for the same period last year. The turnover went up from Rs 214.98 crore to Rs. 298.67 crore recording a growth of 39 per cent year-on-year basis.

Nerolac sales

Goodlass Nerolac Paints has declared gross sales of Rs 274.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, while its net profit has increased by 39.5 per cent to Rs 21.65 crore over the corresponding period last year. Profit before tax during the quarter rose by 36.98 per cent.

NMDC net

National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has posted a 38.33 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 357.42 crore in the first three months of 2005-06 against Rs 258.39 crore recorded in the same period last year. Sales turnover during the period grew 21 per cent to Rs 574.19 crore.

Greenply

Greenply Industries has posted a 95 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 2.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30 compared with Rs 1.29 crore during the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Gross revenues grew 11 per cent per cent to Rs 49.52 crore from Rs 44.72 crore during the period.

Subex Systems

Subex Systems Limited has declared an after tax profit of Rs 8.56 crore in the first quarter of 2005-06, an increase of 110 per cent over Rs 4.10 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year. The company?s revenue during the quarter grew 82 per cent to Rs 41.21 crore from Rs 22.63 crore in the year-ago.

Zen Tech

Zen Technologies has registered a net profit of Rs 1.50 crore for the quarter ended June 30 against Rs 1.13 crore for the corresponding period last year. Net sales during the quarter jumped to Rs 4.21 crore from Rs 3.83 crore last year. The earning per share stood at Rs 1.97 for the quarter as against Rs 1.48 in the previous year.

Cummins

Cummins India has declared a 17 per cent increase in net sales to Rs 328 crore for the quarter ended June 30 compared with Rs 281.5 crore in the same period last year. The profit before the tax during the quarter rose by 26 per cent to Rs 51.60 crore from Rs 40.90 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year.
