London: Clive Lloyd has been appointed as the Match Referee for the Afro-Asia Cup one-day International series between Africa XI and Asia XI in South Africa next month, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Friday.

Umpires Billy Doctrove and Steve Davis will stand in each of the matches to be held at Centurion on August 17 and Durban on August 20 and 21, the ICC said in a release.

Meanwhile, ICC said Elite Panel umpire Billy Bowden will replace Aleem Dar for the second Ashes Test. (PTI)
