New voice for Pak foreign office

Islamabad, July 10 (PTI): The Pakistan foreign office will have a new spokesperson next month as the current incumbent will be moving to the nation’s defence college for a course.

Jalil Abbas Jilani, who will be in India tomorrow for a bilateral meeting of petroleum officials, has been nominated for a 10-month course at the national defence college.

He will attend the joint working group of petroleum officials of India and Pakistan to discuss the modalities of the India-Iran and other gas pipeline projects, media reports here said today.

Jilani was appointed the foreign ministry spokesperson in February.
