WORKSHOP

Tilottama Tharoor, Professor of Humanities, New York University, will read excerpts from the unpublished and out-of-print work of Henry Miller featured in the issue.
RATHA YATRA
July 8 at Bara Bari, Barisha; 4 pm: The inaugural ceremony of 287th Barisha Ratha Yatra Utsav, organised by the members of the Savarna Ray Choudhury Parivar of Bara Bari. At 5 pm: Ratha Yatra begins; the procession with the chariot moves towards Behala through the east flank of Diamond Harbour Road and returns on the same route to Bhajan Ashram, Silpara. At 7.30 pm: Ratha Yatra concludes at Late Hiralal Bose?s House, Bose Para.
July 8 at OVM, 256C Prince Anwar Shah Road; 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm: Odissi Vision & Movement Centre (OVM) celebrates Rath Yatra by bringing out a 15-ft Rath and a procession of OVM students, dancers and percussionists. The procession passes through Golf Green main road and terminates near Golf Green minibus stand.
