Gift the child values & ideals
- Prepare students for the real world

From the time I joined as a teacher to the present day, I have seen the students come and go, and pressures have increased ten-fold on the students to perform.

Over the years many more subjects have been made a part of the curriculum in Chinmaya. The inclusion has been done keeping in mind that these subjects would help students to identify their aptitude for specific subjects later. Nowadays it is the matter of making the right choices that defines the success of the person later.

In this growing age of competition and constant pressure, it is necessary that children grow up with a set of values. The imbibed values would enable them to focus and avoid distractions and temptations. We try to imbibe in the child the idea that nothing compensates hard work. Children have to be mentally strong to survive in this cut-throat competitive age and the school tries to pass on the moral values through various workshops that are conducted regularly in school, besides the usual academic schedule.

At Chinmaya, our goal is to prepare children through continuous academic assessments and regular participation in the different clubs that are an integral part of our school. The club members assemble in school on Saturdays for an hour to discuss their activities with the help of the respective club moderators. We try to channelise the students according to their interests. Youngsters today are brimming with enthusiasm and they just need proper guidance to develop into achiever.

Teachers of our school are our real strength who completely identify with the school policies and are committed in building responsible citizens for the society. Teachers conduct special classes whenever they feel the need to do so. Parents are the third angle in the policy making. They play a huge role in the successful running of our school and are very co-operative in their attitude. They have empowered us with their complete faith and support over the years
