California Dreamin'

(Landmark, Rs 600) It's an hour-long documentary on The Mamas & The Papas, the 60s pop band which had spawned chart-toppers like Monday, Monday and California Dreamin'. There are also covers like Buddy Holly's Words of Love, the Beatles' I Call Your Name and the Shirelles' Dedicated to the One I Love.

Ten films

(Nandan, June 22 to July 1) The French Association presents a festival of 10 films from different parts of the globe. The inaugural film is Hyenas from Senegal, to be screened at Nandan III, 6.30 pm.

World Music Day

(June 21) Professional and amateur musicians will play their tunes at several venues across the city. There's Skinny Alley at Sourav's, 7 pm; Krosswindz at Someplace Else, 9 pm; Hip Pocket at Atrium, 8 pm; Kesivan Naidoo at Oxford Bookstore, 5 pm; Paul Mullick at Flurys, 4 pm; Lightside at Barista, 6.30 pm, and more.
