A seven-year-old girl and a nine-year-old boy swam across the Qiongzhou Strait betw-een Guangdong province and Hainan island, becoming the youngest swimmers ever to cr-oss the strait. The cousin brother-sister duo, primary school students from Shenzhen, started from Haian in Guangdong province and swam for more than eight hours to cover the 27.1-kilometres stretch on Thursday.
