Calcutta: Allama Iqbal Club of Rajabazar emerged champions in the TVS futsal championship.
In the final, held at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium on Sunday, they beat Mohun Bagan 7-6 in tie-breaker, the match being tied 3-3 after the regulation time.
Allama Iqbal beat East Bengal in the semi-final.
Rana Roy of the winners was adjudged the best player of the tournament while Mohun Bagan’s Mehtab Hussain emerged the highest scorer with 10 goals.
