My weekend
Kamaal Khan - singer /actor
Chilling out with friends

I start the weekend with friends unless I am working on Saturdays. If I am free I get together with my close friends and chill out at Olive and Rain. Itís time then for drinks and a nice dinner. Parties are usually held at my place and sometimes at my friendsí. There are times when I might freak out for a change at nightclubs, but it is not as much in the scene for me as it used to be earlier.

Sundays are about getting up late, watching movies and taking it easy. When I say waking up at a relaxed pace, I mean one in the afternoon. I sit and watch movies at home on the DVD. Comic capers and epic stories are my favourite subjects in films. I am not much into horror though. I am a big football freak. When I was in London, I would go to the grounds to watch soccer matches. My favourite team is Liverpool. Now since I am miles away from home, I have to catch them live on television.

Sundays also mean unhibited gorging. Throughout the week, I have to keep a strict control on my diet ' no pizzas, no desserts and no fatty foods. But come Sunday, I do not believe in saying no to anything.

Long drives are a thing of the past. But my trips over the weekend with friends used to be lots of fun. Last time when I went on such a trip to Goa with a large group was during New Yearís Eve. We partied every night. However, when I go in small groups, we end up spending our days on the beach and indulging in watersports such as jetskiing, parasailing and banana boating.
