New Delhi: Neelam J. Singh clinched the discus gold in the national meet for throwers and polevaulters on Monday.

Her 58.12m was well below her silver-winning effort in the Manchester Commonwealth Games but was way ahead of Harwant Kaur and Krishna Punia in the first athletics event of the season.
