Are India & Pakistan really on the road to peace?

no. until and unless the Kashmir issue is resolved satisfactorily, India and Pakistan can never be on the road to peace. I do not think that will ever happen. Isn?t that the lesson of the Kargil War?

all steps towards Indo-Pak friendship are temporary. To have a soft border would only encourage militant activities. The sale of arms by the US to both countries, and the aid offered to Pakistan by China to build a nuclear plant also remain as dark spots on the road to friendship.
