Karachi: Not satisfied with the fitness level of Shoaib Akhtar, Pakistan selectors have decided to rest him for next month?s West Indies tour while former captain Moin Khan is set to get a recall in a 17-member squad, which will be officially announced on Monday.

Selectors also left out unfit paceman Mohammed Sami and included seamer Shabbir Ahmed.
