Carnival

The Sunfeast Saturday Club Inter Club Sports Carnival, organised in association with The Telegraph, will kick off at Saturday Club, 7 pm.

Soiree

A jazz performance by The Tamar Osborne Sextet, comprising Tamar Osborne, Amit Datta, Gyan Singh, Vishal Nayak, Monojit Datta and Jayashree Singh, at Princeton Club, 8 pm. London-based group Parapar, featuring Moushumi Bhowmik (vocals), Oliver Weeks (guitar), Rosalind M. Acton (cello) and Ben Hillyard (double bass), will perform at Gyan Manch, 7 pm.

On stage

Ganga, a multi-arts presentation by Ramananda Bandyopadhyay, dance expert Gayatri Chattopadhyay, litterateur Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri and actor Sabyasachi Chakraborty, to mark the opening of Jahnavi Centre for Performing Arts, 25/245 Prince Gholam Mohammad Shah Road, 5 pm. Folk dances of Moran, Assam, at Bharatiyam, 6 pm.

Talk

Indo-French symposiums, followed by seminars on roads and urban transport, organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce, at Oberoi Grand, 10 am.
