New Delhi, April 20 (PTI): Delhi High Court today directed police in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh to provide protection to a newly-wed couple belonging to different communities after they alleged that they were being threatened by the girl?s family.

The court also granted anticipatory bail to Laxmi Chand, who married Nauri alias Priya here after eloping from Pasu in Bulandshahr district.
