Swap solution on CM table
- Munda rules out three Dal ministers in cabinet

Ranchi, April 8: Chief minister Arjun Munda today claimed he has worked out an ?amicable solution? to the deadlock over inclusion of JD (U) legislator Jaleshwar Mahto in his cabinet.

In the same breath, he sent a firm message across: there was no question of accommodating three JD (U) leaders. Ramesh Singh Munda and Radha Krishna Kishore are the two JD (U) ministers.Speaking to The Telegraph, the chief minister said a decision on the inclusion of Mahto will be taken in a day or two. He claimed that he worked out an ?amicable? solution during his stay in Delhi, in consultation with JD (U) president and NDA convenor George Fernandes.

?I had a long discussion with George Fernandes. I will be settling the dispute forever, within a day or two. There is no problem anywhere,? he said. When reminded that senior JD (U) leaders Sharad Yadav and Digvijay Singh have said they will not approve the removal of Kishore from the cabinet and, at the same time, demand inclusion of Mahto, Munda said: ?Having three JD (U) ministers is practically impossible for me. I don?t want to comment on what they said. They should realise that the BJP has 30 members in the Assembly. I have to take care of their interests as well.?

Mahto and Ramesh Singh Munda, meanwhile, have again demanded that the dispute be settled before their party?s national executive meeting begins in Delhi on April 10. They added that Mahto will not settle for anything less than a ministerial berth. They also did not endorse the removal of Kishore. ?The chief minister made this mistake. Now he should pay for it,? they added.

Kishore, on his part, said he would quit both Assembly and JD (U), if dropped. He added that there was no question of settling for anything less. ?There is no point going through such humiliation. If the party feels that I am not competent enough to continue as a minister, how can I represent it in the Assembly??

The chief minister today also said that Governor Syed Sibtey Razi should immediately put an end to the impasse over the Anglo-Indian member of the Assembly. Raj Bhavan should either reject the recommendation to nominate J.P. Galstaun or notify it without wasting time, he said.
