Idol Talk
To the man with the sweetest smile, Abhijeet Sawant

Tu hai aasmaan mein was the first song you sang in the first gala round and you really reached the zenith (aasmaan) of people?s hearts then. Ishq kabhi kariyo na, you sang next but no one really followed you this time as sabhi ko aap se ishq ho chuka tha. People fell in love with your voice, your humility and above all your sweet smile.

After Mohabbat hai mirchi, people started loving you more and more and sach-much pyaar ki Ganga behne lagi. Then you sang, Jana-ve ghar aaja and people really wished you came home to their hearts and never went away. When you sang, Bachchna ai haseenon, it really proved harmful for all the guys as sab ladkiyaan aap pe mar mitne ko taiyyaar theeen.

Your patriotic song, Kar chale hum fida, aroused in everyone the spirit of patriotism and left tears in everyone?s eyes and touched the souls of every Indian. No one really knew, Dil kya kare jab... Sab ko aap se itna pyaar aa gaya tha ke sab aap pe jaan lutaane ko taiyyaar the.

When you sang, Dil chaahta hai, everyone felt, how nice it was to have a friend in life and how pure the bond of friendship was. maahi re again touched everyone?s heart and made everyone understand some important truths of life.

Tu yaar tuhi dildaar made girls wonder who your dildaar really was and made them fervently wish it was them. When you sang, Tu mile, everyone felt that agar aap mil jayen then surely aur jeene ko kya chaahiye. It?s true that aap ki khayaalon ki malika, to sab banna chaahte hain.

Anu Malik isn?t a girl but still voiced his desire to garland you with a var-mala after hearing you. But I am a girl and I always keep thinking when and how I can put my var-mala on you.

You are my Indian Idol and you occupy a very special place in my heart and my love for you increases each day.

Lots of love

To my hero, my idol, Amit Sana

There is nothing so common as unsuccessful people with talent. Usually the problem lies not in failing to discover our natural aptitude but in not developing a discovered skill. My heartiest congratulations to the Indian Idol show which has given the music fraternity, in the last few months, many fine singers including my favourite, the very talented Amit Sana.

On behalf of my entire family, I take this opportunity to congratulate you on making it so big...CONGRATULATIONS! I was an ardent viewer of the Indian Idol show on Sony TV and you were my favourite from Day-1. You were the reason that I used to remain glued to the television set. You have come a long way since the Audition Round. The way you groomed and prepared yourself is admirable. Your gayaki and andaaz left me completely spellbound. Words fail me when I think about each of your performances. You are truly mindblowing and fantastic. Leaving behind thousands of contestants and reaching this far is nothing less than a miracle. Your determination, dedication and discipline helped you win the hearts of not only the judges but millions of music lovers.

I am sure that you are not among those who will fall short of hope and confidence. You are a fighter. The way you fought your throat infection and still managed to put up a great show was commendable. Never let this spirit die. Don?t be disheartened for not being able to get the formal title of the Indian Idol. You are the Idol of numerous fans and will dwell in their hearts forever. This is an achievement in itself ? don?t you think so?

Life never stands still, Amit. You must not look at the world around you as a collection of readymade objects and past events, but as something that is happening now and will happen tomorrow. You stand as an inspiration to thousands of Amits out there. You have proved that if one performs with full sincerity and honesty then he can overcome all obstacles in life and make it really big.

I know that you will not disappoint me and the millions of fans out there. Let this be the beginning of a new era of the young and talented singers and you be the leader.

Tomorrow is yours. Godbless!
