Austria?s Hermann Maier won his 50th World Cup race on Sunday to join Italian slalom specialist Alberto Tomba as the second most successful male skier in World Cup history. His time of one minute 32.98 seconds was a huge 0.83 seconds better than Didier Defago who was denied a first Swiss win this season.
