Aizawl: Hosts Mizoram and defending champions Bengal made it to the semi-final of the national junior football championship for B.C. Roy trophy at the Assam Rifles ground here on Monday.
Bengal thrashed Tamil Nadu 5-0 while Mizoram edged out Maharashtra by a solitary goal in their final group A league encounters.
Both Bengal and Mizoram finished with four points but Bengal topped the group on a better goal average. (PTI)
