Mumbai, Feb. 9 (PTI): A student of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences committed suicide on its premises in northeast Mumbai, institute sources said today.

The girl, in her early twenties, was a second-year student of the department of urban and rural community development. She committed suicide yesterday.

The reason behind the suicide is not yet known, the sources said. Institute officials, including the director, held a high-level meeting today to discuss the incident.
