Bhel net leaps 78.5%

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) has posted a 78.53 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 237.40 crore for the quarter ended December 31 compared with Rs 132.97 crore for the same quarter last fiscal. Total income increased 26.79 per cent to Rs 2386.47 crore from Rs 1882.12 crore.

Indo Asian

Indo Asian Fusegear?s revenues for the third quarter ended December 31 was Rs 32.22 crore against Rs 26.75 crore in the year-ago period, a rise of 20.45 per cent. Net profit has risen to Rs 3.30 crore from Rs 0.72 crore.

Century Ply

Century Plyboards has posted a third-quarter net profit of Rs 2.18 crore. The net profit for the nine-month period was Rs 5.85 crore.

Sutlej net

Sutlej Industries has posted a 98 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 6.09 crore in the quarter ended December 31 from Rs 3.07 crore in the year-ago period. Turnover rose to Rs 143.12 crore from Rs 129 crore.

Arvind Mills

Arvind Mills has reported an 89 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 36 crore for the quarter ended December 31 against Rs 19 crore in the year-ago period. Net sales rose to Rs 414 crore from Rs 349 crore.

Star Paper

Star Paper Mills has posted a 62 per cent rise in third-quarter net profit to Rs 5.51 crore from Rs 3.40 crore in the year-ago period. Its revenue rose to Rs 49.32 crore from Rs 43.19 crore.

Datamatics

Datamatics Technologies has reported a 22.81 per cent growth in consolidated revenues at Rs 37.86 crore for the quarter ended December 31 against Rs 30.83 crore in the year-ago period. Consolidated net profit rose to Rs 5.16 crore from Rs 5.77 crore.

Glenmark

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has posted a net profit of Rs 12.11 crore in the quarter ended December 31 against Rs 10.75 crore in the year-ago period. Its sales increased from Rs 102.66 crore to Rs 138.48 crore.

SPML profit

Subhash Projects & Marketing (SPML) reported a 126 per cent rise in net sales at Rs 55.96 crore for the third quarter ended December against Rs 24.76 crore in the year-ago period. Net profit rose to Rs 65 lakh from Rs 4 lakh.

Tricom India

Tricom India has reported a 34 per cent growth in cumulative net sales and 33 per cent rise in net profit in the nine-month period ended December 31 at Rs 9.46 crore and Rs 2.93 crore respectively.

Dwarikesh

Dwarikesh Sugar has reported a 25.8 per cent growth in sales at Rs 33.07 crore for the quarter ended December 2004. Its net profit stood at Rs 5.66 crore.
