Goodlass Nerolac net leaps

Goodlass Nerolac Paints Ltd has posted a 67.24 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 28.33 crore during the third quarter ended December 31 compared with Rs 16.94 crore in the year-ago period. The company?s income from operations rose to Rs 254.89 crore from Rs 207.53 crore in the same quarter a year ago. For the nine-month period ended December 31, the company's net profit rose to Rs 73.07 crore from Rs 44.65 crore in the same period last year, while its income from operations rose to Rs 674.52 crore from Rs 578.84 crore.

Shree Cement

Shree Cement has achieved a 111 per cent rise in net profit for the nine-month period ended December 31 at Rs 59.42 crore against Rs 28.21 crore in the corresponding period last year. In the third quarter of this fiscal, the company has achieved a net profit of Rs 16.49 crore against Rs 12.06 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Monnet Ispat

Monnet Ispat Limited has recorded a 276 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 31.54 crore in the third quarter ended December 31 from Rs 8.38 crore in the year-ago period. Its turnover is Rs 212.47 crore compared with Rs 62.65 crore in the year-ago period, an increase of about 239 per cent.

KPIT Cummins

KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd has reported a 94.6 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 7.41 crore for the third quarter ended December 2004. Consolidated revenues rose 85.12 per cent at Rs 62.57 crore. In the April-December period, consolidated net profit rose to Rs 20.56 crore compared with Rs 9.79 crore in the same period last year.

Oudh Sugar

Oudh Sugar Mills has posted a net profit of Rs 4.24 crore for the half-year ended December 31 against a loss of Rs 42.66 lakh in the year-ago period. The turnover was Rs 156.9 crore compared with Rs 161.8 crore in the corresponding half of the previous year.

BOC India

BOC India has posted Rs 18.23-crore profit before tax and extraordinary items for the quarter ended December 31, showing a growth of more than 300 per cent over the year-ago period. The net profit after tax is Rs 12.01 crore. Turnover at Rs 110.35 crore for the quarter grew by 38 per cent over the same period last year.

Balmer Lawrie

Balmer Lawrie has posted a 40 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 19.98 crore for the nine months ended December 31 compared with Rs 14.24 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. The total income has gone up from Rs 712 crore to Rs 746 crore.

Aztec profit

Aztec Software has posted a profit after tax of Rs 4.65 crore in the third quarter against Rs 20 lakh in the year-ago period. The revenue was Rs 25.59 crore compared with Rs 10.42 crore in the same period last year.
