Calcutta: Mohun Bagan will play an exhibition soccer match with a Nigerian team here on January 7 to raise money for thousands affected by the tsunami in India.

Announcing this, Bagan assistant general secretary Balaram Chowdhury said that a 17-member squad from Nigeria?s Saro Football Club would arrive here on Tuesday to play the match at the Salt Lake Stadium.

The entire proceeds will go to the Prime Minister?s Relief Fund. The match is being jointly organised by Mohun Bagan and West Bengal Sports Department.
