Barasat, Nov. 17: A woman and her paramour have been arrested on charges of murdering her husband in front of their two-year-old child after a confrontation last night.

Police said Nilima had an affair with Asim Roy from before her marriage and continued the liaison taking advantage of her husband, Swapan Burman?s, touring job.

Last night, Swapan apparently returned suddenly to his Mondalpara residence in Barrackpore and found Nilima and Asim in a compromising position.

He began abusing the two, who sprang at him and pinned him down. Nilima held his hands while Asim is said to have throttled him.
