Souvik enters title-round

Calcutta: Souvik Basu Roy will meet I.N. Bhattacharjee in the men?s singles final of the Kamal Basu Memorial table tennis championships at Southern Park Bidyut Sanhga. In the semi-finals on Tuesday, Souvik beat Santanu Majumdar 9-11, 3-11, 11-4, 11-8, 11-4, 7-11, 11-7, while Bhattacharya defeated Sourav Sengupta 7-11, 11-9, 11-6, 9-11, 11-7, 12-10.

Other semi-final results: Boys singles: Anirban Sinha Roy bt Subhadip Basu Roy 11-4, 11-2, 11-6, 11-6; Tanumoy Das Chowdhury bt Avijit Chakraborty 5-11, 11-7, 17-15, 14-12, 11-9.
